Suzuka returns to become The Race Centre’s Track of the Month for October!

Opened in 1962 as a test track, Suzuka is one of the few circuits in the world that boasts a figure of 8 layout with the back straight passing over the front section by a bridge. Based in the city of Suzuka, it hosts a number of big motorsport events with the main ones being its round on the Formula 1 calendar, and the 10 Hours of Suzuka.

Today, Suzuka is seen by F1 fans as one of the most enjoyed and exciting tracks on the Formula 1 calendar. With it’s swooping fast “esses” section, long straights and fast turns it lends itself perfectly to close fast racing which can leave both fans and drivers wanting more. It was absent from the F1 calendar in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, but made a welcome return in 2022, where Max Verstappen won not only the Grand Prix, but he also secured his 2nd World Championship. The circuit has remained on the calendar ever since, and is a firm favourite amongst the drivers.

What can you drive this month?

You are welcome to drive any of the month’s vehicles at any time in an Open Practice Session. All lap times and telemetry are recorded for your immediate viewing and future reference.

New drivers to The Race Centre will be automatically classified as Class D drivers. Winning in a class at the end of the month will gain you a promotion to the next class up.

Competition Terms and Conditions

All potential prize-winning laps must be verified by a TRC staff member.

For a lap to be legal, your vehicle must have two or more wheels inside or touching the white lines at all times.

Vehicles must be running all standard TRC settings for the month.

Multiple Class wins within a month will result in prizes for the highest win only. Lower “wins” will be passed to the next highest competitors.

TRC Staff are not eligible to win prizes. Any winning positions held by staff will defer to the next highest driver.

Free entry to First Monday is for the next event and is non-transferable.

In order to win Free First Monday entry in Class A, you must be within the top 10% of fastest lap time for the month.

Open Race Meeting voucher will be valid for 6 months from the date of postage.
